Although the library has entire books about literature reviews (see the column to the left), you  may not need to study this subject in such depth.  More general books about writing dissertations, found in the QUI.WRI section on the library's ground floor, may be sufficient.

Running this search in Google (not Google Scholar, just regular Google) will find guidance from UK universities and other academic sites:

 

Although all these sites are categorised as academic, you will still need to evaluate the quality of what you read. For instance, a student's blog might be hosted on a university website, and might not give the best advice.
