Bibliographic & Citation software provide users with a system in which to store, organize, and retrieve information and research. There are a number of different bibliographic & citation management software currently available including RefWorks, EndNote, Mendeley, and Zotero. While, many of these software require paid subscription accounts, free versions are often available with reduced features. Students are encouraged to explore different software to find the tool that best meets their personal needs and preferences.

There are many citation management programs you can choose from including EndNote, Mendeley and Zotero. Each has its own benefits. SIA-NY Library subscribes to RefWorks and we offer support for RefWorks. While we can answer some basic questions about Zotero, Mendeley and Endnote Online, they are freely-available tools and we cannot provide extensive support for technical issues, mishaps, etc.
