Resources for studying recent and contemporary art from all parts of Latin America.

Library Hub Discover does not tell you which of the libraries it lists you can access. For this info see:

The key libraries in London are likely to be:

  • National Art Library at the V&A
  • British Library one of the three largest libraries in the world
  • Tate Library at Tate Britain

Also consider:

  • iniva small specialist library close to Tate Britain
  • Senate House Library for MA students. A good collection of material about social and political background of Latin America, for instance in the database Prisma

Leonard's Price Index of Latin American Art at Auction (published 1999) is available at the British Library and Tate Library.

The University of Essex library has some titles difficult to find in other libraries.  This library welcomes visitors and is in Colchester, one hour by train from London Liverpool Street. It can searched via Library Hub Discover. The University also has a collection of art from Latin America.
