Index of Latine and Hispanic American Artists is a guide to relevant books in the Metropolitan Museum of Art library, covering artists based throughout Latin America as well as North America.  Although there is no access to the books themselves, many will be available at SIA or in other libraries in London

 

Dissertations

You can find Sotheby's Institute dissertations about your chosen country like this:

The asterisk allows you to search for Mexico, Mexican and Mexicans all at the same time.

A few resources which are not dissertations will appear in the results list. To hide these, choose the Dissertation/Thesis filter from the left hand menu on the results page:

Journals

Most journal articles will be found with Summon or one of the other databases listed in the first section of this guide.  However you may want to browse a journal, magazine or newspaper individually, entering its title (not the article title) in the search box below:
