Renewing your book loans

This info applies to MA students, Study Abroad students, Professional Course students, faculty and other staff.

Go to the library homepage and choose the Book Catalogue link:

 

Then log-in, as shown below:

 

Once logged in, follow the link to see your loans:

 

The second of the book loans shown below has a renew icon, which you can click to renew that loan:

 

The other loan does not have a renew icon. Hovering over the stop icon shows why.  In this case, another member of the Institute has reserved the book:

 

When you will not be able to renew books online:

  • no book can be renewed online more than three times in a row .On the fourth occasion, please bring the book into the library for renewal, so we can check it is still in good condition
  • if any book is overdue, you will not be able to renew any books at all, until this is resolved. Please contact the library
  • a renewal for a particular book will not be possible if another member of the Institute has requested it
