For instance, you can combine quote marks and asterisks in EBSCO databases such as Art & Architecture Source and Business Source Premier, unlike Summon.
Each database or search engine should have a help screen, with guidance about searching, and also an advanced search screen. However finding these two is not always obvious, and you may have to search around the homepage and its menus. Of course, feel free to contact the library for help.
