Signing up for email newsletters from any artist, gallery or organisation that particularly interests you is a great way to stay up to date, effortlessly.
The following are good for news about art markets, major exhibitions, discoveries and attributions, and court cases and other art world controversies:
- Art Market Monitor follow the Subscribe link on the right-hand side of the screen
- Art Newspaper newsletters several free e-newsletters, supplementary to the newspaper and website. Sign up near the top left-hand corner of the homepage
- Artdaily follow the Subscribe link in the horizontal menu part way down the screen
- artnet sign up for newsletters at the foot of the page. Although there is no access to articles marked Pro, some of these may be reproduced on other websites. For instance some of Tim Schneider's articles also appear on his blog The Gray Market - where you can also sign up for his newsletter.
- ARTnews follow the Newsletters link near the top left-hand corner of the screen
- Artprice: go to www.artprice.com: this is the only time SIA students and staff should take this route to Artprice rather than following an SIA link which goes via single sign-on. Select Log in at the top of the screen, and choose the New Visitor option to create a free account. Tick the box to receive newsletters.
- Artspace sign up for newsletters near the top of the page
- Artsy use the Sign Up link near the top right-hand corner of the screen
- Blouin ArtInfo international and regional editions. Use this form to sign up for newsletters.
- UBS Contemporary Art follow the Subscribe link near the top right-hand corner of the page
