If you would like to listen to a Microsoft Word document, its own read aloud feature may be the most convenient option.
There are two ways to access this.
You can choose the Review tab and then the Read Aloud option:
Or you can right-click on the page, and choose Read Aloud from the menu that appears:
In either case, move the cursor to the beginning of the text you want to listen to.
You will see a small control bar appear in the top right-hand corner of the screen:
From here you can start and pause the reading, vary the reading speed, and choose between male and female voices.
