The Sotheby’s Institute of Art-New York Library supports the teaching and research needs of the Institute’s students and faculty. The library also provides a physical space for quiet study, scanning and printing. Our librarians provide reference services, research assistance, and bibliographic instruction to students and faculty. We form partnerships with other New York area libraries to ensure that our students and faculty have access to all the necessary resources on art and its markets to conduct original research at the graduate level. The Library serves as the repository for MA Theses and Projects completed by the Institute’s students.
